Don’t see your car?
We’ll build the shade for it.
Every KALDOV sunshade is cut to one windshield — not “one size fits most.” If your vehicle isn’t in our catalog yet, it only means we haven’t cut that template. Send us the details and we’ll tell you within 2 business days whether we can build it.
How custom fit works
Four steps. Nothing is charged until you approve a quote.
Send your details
Year, make, model and trim. Measurements and photos help us move faster.
2 minutes
We check the template
Many vehicles share a windshield profile with a model we already produce. If yours does, you pay the normal catalog price.
Within 2 business days
You get a quote
If it needs a new template, we send you the price, the timeline and photos of the sample before anything is charged.
No deposit to review
Built and shipped
Produced to the same spec as our catalog shades, then shipped to the U.S. with tracking.
15–25 business days
Three measurements, five minutes
Optional — but if you send these, we can usually answer on the same day. A tape measure and a helper is all it takes. Inches or millimetres, either is fine.
A-pillar to A-pillar
The straight-line distance across the flat top of the dashboard, from where it meets the left A-pillar to the same point on the right. Keep the tape straight and level — don’t follow the curve of the glass.
Dash to headliner
At the centre of the windshield, measure from the top of the dashboard straight up to the headliner (the trim above the glass). Measure along the glass, not through the cabin.
Dashboard depth
From the base of the windshield, where the glass meets the dash, back to the rear edge of the flat dashboard area. This tells us how much room the shade has when it is rolled up.
Two photos help even more
If you can, take these before you fill in the form. Phone photos are fine — we only need to see the shape.
- The full windshield from the driver’s seat
Sit in the driver’s seat and shoot straight ahead, like the photo here - The top corner where the glass meets the A-pillar
This is where fit problems show up first - Anything unusual, up close
Rain sensor, camera housing, HUD area or a heated-glass grid — we cut around all of them

Frequently asked questions
The six questions we get most.
How much does a custom shade cost?
If your windshield matches an existing template, you pay the normal catalog price — nothing extra. A genuinely new template costs more, because the frame is cut for your glass alone. We give you the exact figure before you decide.
Do I have to measure my windshield?
No. Year, make, model and trim is enough to start. Measurements simply let us skip a round of questions, which is usually the difference between an answer today and an answer in two days.
Can you fit trucks, vans and RVs?
Often, yes. Large flat windshields are usually straightforward. Very deep or heavily curved commercial glass is the one case we sometimes have to decline — and we’ll tell you honestly if yours is one of them.
What about older cars?
Age isn’t the problem; the windshield shape is. We’ve built shades for vehicles going back to the early 2000s.
Will it block my rain sensor or camera?
No. We cut around sensor housings and camera mounts. That’s exactly why we ask about them in the form.
How long until I hear back?
Within 2 business days, including a straight answer if we can’t build it. With measurements or photos, usually faster.
Already ordered and the fit looks wrong?
Don’t install it. Email us and we’ll sort out the right shade first.
