1-Year Limited Warranty
Every KALDOV electric windshield sunshade purchased from kaldov.com comes with a 1-year limited warranty for the original purchaser, starting on the date of delivery.
What’s covered
- Failure of the motor, controller, or other electronic components under normal use;
- Failure of the deploy/retract mechanism under normal use;
- Defects in materials or workmanship.
What’s not covered
- Damage caused by incorrect installation or wiring, or by forcing the shade open or closed by hand;
- Normal wear, such as minor fabric fading or scratches from everyday use;
- Accidents, misuse, or using the shade while the vehicle is moving;
- Products that have been modified or disassembled;
- Products bought from unauthorized sellers.
How to make a claim
- Email support@kaldov.com with your order number, a description of the problem, and a short video showing it.
- We review your claim within 2 business days and may ask a few troubleshooting questions — many issues are solved by a connection check.
- If the product is covered, we send a replacement unit or replacement parts at no charge for the parts. In most cases you do not need to send the faulty unit back.
Limitations
This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the KALDOV product. It does not cover installation labor, dealer fees, or other costs. Nothing in this warranty limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
Safety reminder
KALDOV sunshades are for use while parked only. Always fully retract the shade before driving. Never leave children or pets unattended in a vehicle.
